VANCOUVER, British Columbia – December 20, 2007 – Dr. Dobb's 18th Jolt Awards has selected ActiveState's Komodo IDE as a Best IDE finalist. Komodo won the Jolt Productivity Award in 2006 and was nominated again this year after the release of Komodo IDE 4.0 in January, a significant update that introduced new tools for web development, multi-language support and Firefox-style extensibility.
For the past 17 years, the Jolt Awards have been presented annually to showcase products that have "jolted" the industry with their significance and made the task of creating software faster, easier, and more efficient.
